Charcuterie Board Workshop

Participants will receive a gourmet selection of cheeses, meats and more to design a beautiful board. You will learn step-by-step how to create a cheese and charcuterie board that is as gorgeous to look at, as it is delicious to eat. Get ready to learn expert tips and tricks on how to build a board that will delight you and really wow your family and friends!

Fascia FITness

Even a few minutes of myofascial release work can have a profound effect on your muscles and your well-being. In this workshop, participants will learn how to use self-myofascial release techniques using foam rollers, balls and DIY props to fix stiff spots, unwind knots of tension and tune up your nervous system. Techniques are combined with Yoga stretches.

Work Break Challenge (4-6 Week Challenge)

Low Back FITness

Learn how to prevent and alleviate generalized low back pain at work using the band2FIT Low Back Fitness exercise band.

Desk Jockey FITness

Desk Jockey FITness is exercise that can be done right at your desk, in the clothes you wear to work!  With simple stretch and strength movements, you can strengthen and loosen the muscles of neck, shoulders, arms, back, chest, wrists, hands, and legs. These exercises can also give you a mental boost, fight stress and boost productivity.

3-Step Pain Relief Work Breaks

Using a tennis ball for self-massage, simple stretches and strengthening exercises, participants will learn 6 work breaks that will help repair and relieve pain for the wrists, back and shoulders/neck.

Seated Serenity Yoga

This team-taught seated Yoga class will bring serenity to your worksite with gentle stretches, healing touch and aromatherapy. Originally designed for breast cancer survivors, Serenity is now brought to companies to restore and rejuvenate your employees.

Yin Yoga with Reiki

Yin Yoga is a meditative, slow-paced flexibility practice that stresses the connective tissues of the body to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. Poses are done on the ground and are held for longer periods of time. During the poses, the instructor offers individual and group Reiki. One instructor per 10 participants.

Senior Strong!

Learn why strength training should be part of our lifestyles at ANY age, particularly in our Golden Years. Whether for you or a loved one, learn how and why seniors can benefit from a regular strength training regime for improved health and quality of life. Participants will engage in a sample strength workout designed for seniors.

Desk Jockey (combatting computer posture) Workshop

Computer posture is a growing problem among sedentary occupations. It can lead to chronic neck, back and shoulder pain as well as wrist pain. Learn how to combat this “desk sentence” with proper ergonomics and work break strategies that include corrective work break exercises to stretch tight and strengthen weak postural muscles. This workshop pairs with the band2FIT Posture Correction tool.

Fitting in FITness

In today’s fast-paced world it can be difficult for people to incorporate exercise and developing a fitness routine for yourself can seem daunting especially when you work. This workshop includes scheduling strategies to make it easier to fit exercise into your busy day and will teach you quick fitness tricks of the trade so that you can get more done in less time.

For your specialty population, our band2FIT strength Workshops combine the education and the workout to properly teach your group how and why to strength train using the resistance band.

Resistance Training- Muscle Matters Workshop

Strong muscles “matter.” For weight loss, health and quality of life, we all should have some type of resistance training in our workout regime. A simple resistance workout is included in the workshop.

Intro to Pilates Workshop

Learn the amazing story of Joseph Pilates and his visionary exercise movement. Joseph Pilates told his students, “Learn the exercises, and learn to breathe.” In this workshop you will learn the story behind the Pilates movement, the benefits of Pilates, as well as a few of the exercises combined with the breath!

Intro to Yoga Workshop

Did you know that the physical aspect of Yoga is only a fraction of this lifestyle called Yoga and that it’s been around for over 5,000 years? If you’re considering implementing a Yoga program, this class provides a foundation and understanding of Yoga. Students will learn that it’s not just about the stretch—it’s so much more!

FIT Core (1 time only class)

This class/workshop includes exercises to strengthen the abdominals and back. All classes include functional, strength and flexibility training.

FIT Back (1 time only class)

Building a better back, one exercise at a time, FIT Back corrects posture and strengthens muscles to realign the back to reduce pain. The workshop includes postural awareness, foam rolling, and functional stretch/strength moves. 

FIT 101 (1 time only class)

FIT 101 blends nutrition guidance and exercise for fitness and weight loss. Class includes a nutrition mini-lesson and a supercharged workout that will increase lean muscle and burn fat. Although FIT 101 is geared towards the beginner, all fitness levels will benefit!
